Regional West Heath Services in Scottsbluff, NE is the parent company for Regional  West Medical Center and Regional West Physicians Clinic. These organizations, with over 1,800 employees, provide comprehensive and innovative health care services for the people and communities of western Nebraska and the neighboring states of Colorado, South Dakota and Wyoming. With over 110 active physicians, 95 percent of whom are board certified or board eligible, plus and additional 25 consulting specialists, the Regional West family of health care organizations offers care that spans more than 30 medical specialties.
Regional West Medical Center is the primary regional referral center serving western
Nebraska and parts of adjoining states. It is a community operated not-for- profit organization, which willingly serves anyone in need and reinvests all of its financial resources toward improving health care in its service area. Regional West Medical Center's talented and dedicated staff has helped it to expand services to include Level II trauma care, award-winning cancer treatment, and acute rehabilitation as well as to become a Bariatric Center of Excellence. Our goal, working  cooperatively with hospitals across the Nebraska panhandle, is to provide the complete care patients need, close to home.
Regional West Physician's Clinic is the newest subsidiary of Regional West Health
Services. Over 60 physicians and 18 mid-level providers comprise Regional West
Physician's Clinic, and represent 17 specialities in individual clinics. The organizational
model is similar to that used by the Mayo Clinic, the Cleveland Clinic, and Billings Clinic.
All physicians credentialed at Regional West were given the opportunity to join.
Those who chose not to participate in the new medical group when it formed
in 2008 are welcome to apply for inclusion in the future. In a move described as
one of the top two or three most significant events in Regional West's history,
the hospital and physicians now share leadership in improving quality management
and patient care. With physican hospital integration, Regional West physicians
have more time to devote to patient care, health care governance and
leadership, and communtiy outreach.
